Why Choose StreamBank for Property Finance?

StreamBank originated from the bridging loan division of ActivTrades and applied for a UK banking licence in July 2021. By February 2023, it had become a fully authorised, privately owned bank, regulated to specialise in property finance, with a focus on bridging loans, development finance, and commercial mortgages. The company is headquartered in Cardiff.

Mortgage brokers working with StreamBank benefit from direct access to underwriters and streamlined case management, enabling fast, practical decision-making. The lender’s non-regulated product, StreamLine, offers residential loans up to £2 million with loan-to-value (LTV) ratios reaching 65%, and rates starting at 0.65% per month.

For urgent or auction-driven cases, the FastStream product provides up to 70% LTV and supports property values up to £2 million. Meanwhile, StreamEdge includes title insurance and a £1,000 legal fee contribution, with rates from 0.66%. Loans range from £100,000 to £3 million, and terms span three to 18 months. Security is accepted across residential, semi-commercial, commercial, and development properties.

If you’re looking to align with a lender that offers flexibility and a quick turnaround on complex cases. In that case, StreamBank complements advisers connected through a specialist mortgage network or those considering joining one for added support.

What this means for our advisers

StreamBank has joined the Connect for Intermediaries panel, further enhancing our offering for advisers who require flexible short-term finance solutions. With access to both regulated and unregulated bridging finance, advisers can now support auction purchases, light refurbishment, and properties with complex titles—all with streamlined processing and fast completions.
