Use the Search box to find anything. Enter a ‘lender name’ or a mortgage type, such as ‘BTL’ or ‘Residential’; or even a commission rate, such as ‘1.5‘.
Packaging
FCA authorised advisers can access the Connect Packaging Service. Connect will process the application, but the FCA authorised adviser will remain responsible for the advice. Advisers using this service will receive 100% of the Connect Packaged commission.
Connect will charge a typical packaging fee of £199 payable on application. Additional processing fees may be payable for some products, such as second charges, which will be confirmed on enquiry.
For either service, Connect may receive additional packaging or distribution fees from the provider, which are not shared with the adviser or introducer.
Introduced
The introducer will receive a share of the commission that is paid to the adviser. The typical adviser commission is shown in the Connect introduced column, but on occasion this may be less if the adviser needs to secure a better deal for the client. The percentage that is shared with the introducer is shown on the introducers contract with Connect.
Connect introduced service is available to anyone who would like to introduce a client including introducers without FCA authorisation and authorised advisers who do not have access to a lender or a product. For all introduced cases, Connect will take responsibility for the client advice.
Connect will charge the client a typical adviser fee of £199 on application and 0.5% – 1% on offer, depending on the product type. The introducer will also receive a share of the offer fee. Additional processing fees may be payable some products, such as second charges, which will be confirmed on enquiry.
For either service, Connect may receive additional packaging or distribution fees from the provider, which are not shared with the adviser or introducer.
