Ambitious professionals can progress to Appointed Representative status within our specialist mortgage network, while our internal workforce provides the training, structure, and support required for long-term success. This dual-path model is one of Connect’s strengths and highlights our commitment to offering a thriving, innovative environment where individuals can grow, excel, and make a meaningful impact.
Revealing 3 Astounding Senior Hires
The additions bring expertise and fresh perspectives, strengthening Connect for Intermediaries’ commitment to innovation and growth. This expansion reflects Liz Syms’ dedication to building a dynamic workforce, positioning the company for success in intermediary services.
Alan Baldwin


Alan Baldwin, previously at Masthaven, is now our director of compliance. He will oversee compliance teams, lead AR supervision, and implement Consumer Duty papers. His experience makes him invaluable to our leadership team.
In a strategic move, Adrian Boxhall, formerly with Shawbrook, will join us in mid-January as director of operations. He will optimise the mortgage application process and focus on specialist lending and commercial markets. Adrian’s arrival is crucial to enhancing efficiency and excellence.
Additionally, we are delighted to announce Jim Selley’s promotion to training director. This highlights our commitment to empowering advisers with the essential knowledge and professionalism they need for growth in 2023. Jim’s new role will support advisers in expanding their expertise and capabilities.
