The webinar will cover full details of Legal & Generals Relevant Life Plan which is a term assurance plan available to employers to provide an individual death in service benefit for an employee. The policy is written in a tax efficient way leading to potential savings which will be covered in the webinar.

Research suggests that many of those who own or work for a small business, (often a limited company) aren’t aware of Relevant Life plans and the benefits of using these policies for their family protection. Relevant life plans can help advisers cover the clients personal needs and help to build the relationship with the business and so the future opportunities with protecting that business.

This session is designed to give insight into the how the products work, the tax position and how it could fit within the advice process. The areas covered and learning objectives are

  1.  Understand the criteria for a Relevant Life Plans, and how these policies are structured in a tax efficient manner leading to the potential savings a customer can achieve.
  2. Identify why it is important to highlight the importance of protecting your clients family and the role Relevant Life plans can play.
  3. Identify the opportunities for writing Relevant Life Plans, and the potential additional opportunities with Business customers.
